Whether that’s Harry Potter magic in the Highlands or hordes of zombies in Glasgow, more and more film companies are looking to Scotland for their perfect film and TV location.

Scottish Water is fortunate to have a variety of beautiful and dramatic settings that are perfect for film and TV productions – from stunning reservoirs and loch-side locations to grittier sites such as treatment works and tunnels.

Already our assets have played host to a number of movies and commercials and photoshoots. These include comedy drama The Stag; feature movie What we did on our Holiday and the 2008 production of The 39 Steps – all which were filmed on the banks of our very own Loch Katrine.
