Food waste we accept

Whilst reducing food waste should always be the first port of call, some food waste is simply unavoidable for example peelings or spoiled food in the event of a freezer breakdown.

By accepting food waste from a variety of producers – from local authorities and food manufacturers to supermarkets, breweries and the catering industry – we transform this waste to valuable new products.

This includes all category 3 waste as well as organic sludges.
